I work as a Shooting PD, Lighting Camera Operator, Writer, and Video Editor on productions of all sizes. I work with broadcasters, corporate & private clients and artists & performers to produce video content for TV, social media and the web.
Pushing myself to create the highest quality video content I can is my passion and purpose. Through beautiful cinematography and innovative storytelling, I strive to communicate informative subject matter with charisma and style, blending compelling human stories and original presentation.

This is how I normally work. Whether you have a fully formed idea or only the vaguest thoughts of what you want, I'll work with you to refine your idea and plan a production schedule to make your vision a reality.
I specialise in short-form video, condensing the core meaning of a story down into punchy, affecting films of between 90 seconds and fifteen minutes but have plenty of long-form experience too.
I have produced video content for TV, web and social media channels. I’ve made films about the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre, world renowned mountain bike festivals, community gardening projects and a World Cup predicting tortoise, amongst other things.

I am employed at live events as a Camera Operator, providing coverage of conferences, awards ceremonies, charity balls and other large events.
Typically I will provide live video streams of keynote talks and presentations for viewing on big screens in the venue as well as for online viewing. Talks and presentations are recorded and delivered to clients post-event for use on their websites and social media.
A specialist service I offer for my clients is to capture extra interview and cutaway footage during event breakout sessions. This content is then combined with footage from keynote talks and presentations to produce a short promotional video that really captures the spirit and energy of the event. These promo films are invariably well-received by clients and are used to promote their business as well as future events. Combined with the keynote and presentations they build to provide a full suite of video assets that clients find tremendously valuable.
I provide a number of different video post-production services to broadcasters and professional clients including video editing, colour correcting and grading, audio balancing, and encoding video files to optimise them for different online platforms. I can work remotely or on-site using Adobe CC products.
Because of my directing background I am constantly thinking about story structure during the editing process and the content required to tell a coherent story. I am able to quickly identify narrative threads and build sequences that cut to the heart of the matter, communicating the key messages of a film with focus and style.
I can also be employed by clients with an AV archive to re-edit or consolidate existing videos, giving them a new lease of life.
